How the process works and important dates

Deadline to submit applications using the online form

30th January 2025 – 5pm

We will send you an invite to the introduction sessions. This will be sent to the email you have given to us in the form.

31st January

You’ll need to dial in to one 3-hour introduction session, these will be held via Microsoft Teams.

4th February at 2pm-5pm or 11th February at 9am-12pm

You’ll receive a call or email about arranging a time to talk to someone from Korn Ferry so we can see if we’re a good fit for each other.

By 12th February

You’ll have a video call with Korn Ferry, who will have a one-hour conversation with you about how you meet the qualities outlined in the “What it takes to be a great Trustee” section of the Role page

Between 13th February and 5th March

We will be in touch to confirm if you will be invited for an interview with our selection panel.

By 21st March

You will attend an interview with the selection panel

On 8th or 9th April

We will let you know if you have been selected to join the Board.

By 11th April

The 2 Trustees will start their role from 1 May 2025 and will be invited to their first Board meeting on 8 & 9 July 2025.

Unilever UK Pension Fund Trustees Limited is the Trustee of the Fund. Throughout this website, ‘Trustees’ means the Directors of Unilever UK Pension Fund Trustees Limited.

This website does not give any rights to particular levels of contributions or benefits. Unilever reserves the right to end your employer’s participation in any section of the Fund and, with the Trustees’ agreement, to make changes to the Fund.

Legal and tax issues may change from time to time. The Trustees cannot give tax advice in relation to the application of tax rules or legislation and it is each member’s responsibility to take advice on their own tax position.
