What the member survey told us

Last November, we ran a member survey to find out how you feel about engaging with the Fund online, how you find our communications and how confident you are when it comes to planning for retirement.

We want to say a big thank you to everyone who took part – in total, we heard from just under 3,000 of you. That gives us a lot of rich insight.

Here’s what the survey told us.

You were clear you want to be able to manage your pension online. And you told us you’d find a live chat function really helpful.

Alongside that, you told us the things you worry about. High on the list is whether your pension will last throughout your retirement. And many of you want to better understand the retirement options that are available to you.

So here’s what we’re doing. Soon you’ll be able to:

• log in to view your pension details online
• use a live chat function
• access more support for retirement planning including tailored retirement communications

And if you’d rather not manage your pension online, you’ll still be able to use phone and post.
