Register or log in to the online portal:
The best way to manage your pension is online. Your online portal allows you to complete a range of tasks at a time that suits you.
By accessing your personalised online portal you can:
- Update your address or contact details
- Nominate beneficiaries to receive benefits in the event of your death
- View your payslips
- View your P60 certificates
Registering only takes a couple of minutes. You’ll need your National Insurance number and contact details to hand.
The portal has been built with the security of your data in mind. It’s safe to use and is updated regularly with the latest security features to keep your details secure.
Security
To keep your personal data safer, you have the option to register for Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) as part of the log in process.
If you chose to use MFA, we will send you a unique code, by text message or through an app on your phone, to enter every time you log in to the portal.
This protects your account by giving an extra layer of security, helping keep your data safe by verifying you’re the person accessing it.
Have your National Insurance number ready
To allow us to verify your details against the records we hold for you, we request your National Insurance number.
Choose a unique login name
Your login name must not be an email address and is case-sensitive, so be sure to remember the exact capitalisation you use when creating it.
Create a secure password
Your password must meet the following criteria:
- Be 8 or more characters long
- Contain number(s) AND lower case letter(s)
- Contain a capital letter OR a punctuation character e.g. (-,. /?$*)
- Not be a password that you’ve previously used for an account with Hartlink Online
Make use of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Using MFA enhances security and means you won’t need to remember a PIN after your first login.
Security code
If you find it difficult to read the security code just click ‘Refresh’ or press the play button to hear it aloud instead.
Make sure you keep your login details in a safe place
You’ll need the email address you used to register and the answer to your security question to reset your login details.
